The highest I’ve ever been! A special spot and an amazing morning in the Sierra Nevada. I was lucky enough to have a full moon lighting the trail for a 3 am start. Got to watch the sunrise to the East and the moon set to the West. It was cold and windy at the top, but one of the most beautiful summits. I didn’t have a great picture of just Whitney, so this is a view of the summit hut and moon from the top of the peak 🌕
